Greenhouse Construction -  My Little Greenhouse
The foundation of My Little Greenhouse is 10' X 12' cement block and the floor was once lined with landscape fabric and topped with pine bark mulch.  As with any construction project, the accurate measurement of angles and lengths was crucial.
Looking back, I think I would have had the walls constructed using 10 foot 2X4's. This would have made the floor of the little greenhouse larger, but the biggest advantage would have been allowing enough space at the top of the doors and windows to install a small fan to exhaust the hot air captured at the top peak of the My Little Greenhouse.
My Little Greenhouse is now over 15 years old. The corrugated fiberglass is now stained with pecan stain and years of exposures to weather.  It has withstood hurricanes and flooding rains. To this date, it has had no leaks.  The wood is solid, and there has been no other type degradation of the construction material.

Not bad first a fist greenhouse, but I am looking forward to getting a larger one...
