    We survived Huricane Irma

We survived the Hurricane Irma , we had 100 mph winds , luckily we only lost a few shingles off the roof. Our Internet connection went out Sun night and we did not get it back until this morning. We may lose two trees, a Plumeria and a Meyer lemon tree, the ground is so saturated that water is still draining out onto the road from the north side of the house. I kept busy working on my daughter-in-law and son's Christmas present. It is an afghan using 5 colors, Cobble stone Heather a medium dark gray, Dove Heather,a lighter gray, Almond, a golden tan, Cream, Creamy very light yellow, and White. All yarns are Brava yarn from Knit Picks. There were 25 balls of yarn, 5 of each color at 1.99 a piece that equaled $49. 75. I kept me self busy knitting on it while the storm raged around us.
