    Pineapple Sage and Hummingbird

Took these through the window the other day. The Pineapple Sage doesn't bloom long, but when it does it's fun...

You have to love these birds. They're so smart and funny. And I love their little shiny-green feathers. We have them here in Colorado but I believe they've already moved for the Winter. How nice to still see them in your garden!

That is a fantastic photo ! One of the best I've seen !
Pineapple sage ? Interesting...I'll have to look that up.
We have HB's in Kansas as well(Colorado is next door). I had to tear out the HB vine that they love so well. I recall years ago having a gladiola, Mozambique, that they absolutely loved and being a rich purple flower they contrasted beautifully with it.
    Keep those photos coming !

What an absolutely awsome sight that you caught through your window.

Thanks Lily, Abby, and Ryan! I was pretty happy with how the pics came out. I tried to go outside to take them but they flew away, so I just took them through the window. Funny how in the first two the hummingbirds almost completely blend in with the bush. The last one had the sidewalk as the background.
