Thread: Succulent ID?

    Succulent ID?

Ok, they're not really house plants, but I wasn't sure where else to put this thread...

I bought a large pot of succulents at Home Depot and need help identifying a few of them. Most I know, but three in particular have me stumped...

I'm not terribly gifted in IDing plants but the first one I feel pretty sure is a crassula-type plant. The others...well...no idea. I like being helpful ;oD

I Googled Crassula, and I think you're right. So, see, you were helpful!

Huh, is "Googled" even a real word?

#1 is Crassula perforata variegata to be exact.

Google, Googled, Googular, Googacular, Googly, Googlicity, Googlecent, Googlecalifragelistic ... these are all Google derivatives that I have actually used before. This, of course, is the short list. It should be no wonder why, when most of my time is spent with a 9 month old, and the remaining time is spent with a bunch of guys at work who aren't much more mature beyond 9 months of age (and neither am I!).

I have no idea what the real name of # 3 is is but I'd call it Space Alien . That's pretty cool. Great...now I'll be watching for that, too
