    Monadenium

    Strange looking plants in Euphorbia family.

    Jan,

    This is quite lovely! The tiny blooms are so exquisite and the leaves are so succulent - different from the few various Euphorbias I have. Mist of mine have rather nasty spines too! Will these propagate via a leaf cutting?

    Rebecca, thanks! they propagate stem cutting it bleed white milky sap. See some of the leaves do dry up but I think it's cool looking plant.
    I'll send you a cutting with the bulb.

    Haven't seen a Euphorbia yet that did NOT exude that milky sap. It can irritate the skin and mucus membranes and some are touted to be carcinogenic, so wash hands well after handling! I love the little flowers most!

    Isn't it funny how the 'oddest' of plants can have some of the daintiest little blooms? I guess they're showing they have a sweet tender side we'd not see otherwise.
