    Reed Stem Orchids in the ground.

    I had to cover these babies during the winter freezes.

    Wow, they look very good! Where do you live, Jan? If they can survive winter freeze, even with covering, you must not be in the Northern part.

    Beautiful! How nice it must be to have such diversity, but then I'm not complaining. I have kind weather most of the time here also.

    We don't nomally have cold spells for more thena few days a year but last winter was bruital cold spell lasting more then 3 weeks,

    Wow, I haven't seen Epidendrums in years! Lovely. Jan, wondering too if the cold snap isn't what happened to the Aphrodite bulb to confuse it?
