    Erie County Botanical Garden

Every year my mother and I make a trip to the Erie County Botanical Gardens at Christmas time to visit their poinsetta display (http://www.buffalogardens.com/). But we also enjoy the tropical flowers too, especially when the weather looks like this:

I want the purple with purple spots one ! How I know the joy of an oasis of greenery--and tropical at that-- in the middle of winter. For me it was Lowes garden center today but a Botanical Garden would be won-der-ful!

Wait until I finish posting my pictures from that day in my album. If only I knew how to put that link into this post! (I'll have to ask Anne! Lol!)

Rowan, thanks for sharing the pictures!

The crocodile by the pond is so funny. It looks like he is ready to eat the fish, but they just ignore him.
