    Snow

Well it is snowing. Went from tiny flakes in the headlights to covered driveway in 30 minutes. Prediction is 4-8 inches. Wing chill is brrr!

If you check this link Friday, you can see how well the weatherman did at predicting.

Wow, 4-8 inches. Hope you don't have to go out tomorrow, Cathy.

It is 9F here now, and the overnight low will be 5F. We are not having snow tonight though.

Two months minus one week before spring!

    Hey!

If we get 1-2", we are thrilled. Schools are closed all along the central coast tomorrow, more due to icy conditions than due to snow. We don't have salt trucks or anything like that.

It's a relief to know that the children will be safe. It GREAT to know that it happens to give us back a 5 day weekend. We lost a day due to the hurricane, but now, it is lost again. I suspect that they will add a day to the end of the year. I don't mind that....

Freezing or near freezing temps for the next five days.

Snow or No Snow, we are going to enjoy not having to get out in this cold. The high for tomorrow is 37 degrees.

It is snowing, and it is so pretty! Such BIG snow flakes!

Don't laugh at me. We only see this every 15 years or so.

    It is actually, actually snowing!!!!

I'm such a kid at heart when it comes to snow!

Look at that! How amazing can you get?

It didn't stick here at all, but it was certainly fun to watch the huge flakes floating down to earth.

I had a dog once, named Brittany. She discovered snow on the ground 15 years ago and would run across it, sit and slide and scoot. It was hilarious to watch her. She had so much fun.

We only saw the flakes, but still, you must realize that we rarely see even flakes. Rain comes before a cold front and cold fronts are normally dry.

It has been a fun day, even though it did not build up on the ground. Some folks north of me may have gotten a buildup, but I don't know.

    COOL!

    Yep!

It was FUN to see the flakes, even if it didn't stick. We so rarely see it.

    OMG! What a TREAT!
