I have no idea why this bulb is blooming. It has recieved the same treatment and has the same environment as hundreds of others. In fact, another Lima purchased at the same time is dormant.

    Anticipation...

I really do like Lima, but what can I say?

All of us like what we see. They are all beautiful.

I am anxiously awaiting the picture or the early to bloom Lima!

So, where is my little fat icon with the skinny legs and big feet, tapping, tapping, tapping, waiting and waiting for those beautiful blooms!

I can't wait to see, and I am sure you can't either!

Still can't find that icon, but maybe this one will do..l.

Oh! I adore Lima! Isn't she/he beautiful! You obviously have yours in more light. Mine was growing inside with very little light, but I was still thrilled when I saw the first blooms. Primarily because the bulb was in such bad shape that I didn't think the blooms would survive, but they did. I remember the thrill of that...

I don't even know if mine is still alive. There are so many out there, and there was no time to properly inventory this year while I was hauling everything back inside.

I had hoped to purchase a new one, but truth be known, if I had done that, I wouldn't have had time or energy to properly care for it, so I will wait until next year.

I do know that my Chico's and Papilio's, and many others are doing quite well because I know exactly where they are.
