New Bird Bath...another sale purchase !

I was not looking for this. I went into Home Depot at lunch for no particular reason other than a break from work. I started out in the 75% off Christmas stuff and ended up outside in the garden area looking for discount bulbs of which there were none. It is winter. The garden area is empty except for anything clay or concrete. They had bird baths and I did a double take on this one because of the dragon flys. I first saw 2 pedestals and no bowl and then found 1 matching bowl on the opposite side. Only the one pedestal fit the bowl properly. Now, for the unbelievable part...I paid $10 for the whole thing !

Wow Cathy, you were sure at the right place at the right time! Lucky you and Lucky birds! There should be a lot of entertainment for you just sitting and watching them in your new bird bath! Are you going to paint the dragonflies so they stand out? Dragonflies in different colors would look really nice and colorful, standing in your garden area. What do you think?

Yep, right place, right time is it for sure.
I think color would look nice to make them stand out. If I was really arsty crafty I might be thinking tiny mosaic tile pieces.

Thanks ! I think we might leave it out front--at first I thought someone might steal it but probably not.
