    Sunshine!

We are having a day of sunshine!!! It's been awhile and it sure is nice and
bright outside. The GS (Troy 3) wants to play outside but it is cold. Brrrrr. 24 degrees is not playing out side weather, since the wind is blowing, I know it
    feels colder than that!
But is nice to see it. Have a great day everyone!
    Happy Growing,

It's whacky weather here, long periods of highs in the 70's, a few days here and there in the 60's, but I suspect that cold is coming again in the next few days.

    The plants are confused!

Forsythia (isn't that the name of it?)...

Still a few blooms left on the early blooming camelia. Of course, the winter blooming ones are continuous blooming this time of the year, but it is unusual to still see blooms on this one.

Tulip trees are in full bloom. It's such a sight to behold.

But, alas, the beauty will not last very long. The temps are dropping very fast and it looks like there will be a few hard freezes later this week.

    Bummer!

Ah, thanks for that bit of blooms Ann. It does ones heart good to see
    at least someone has blooms.
I hope it doesn't get to cold down that way for you. We are getting more
snow today. Nice and fluffy. :0

Weirdest thing, one of my forsythia bloomed a couple branches in the middle
    of Oct.!
I do have an amaryllis in bloom, don't know the name, white with very pale pink.
It only has 2 blooms, but they sure are pretty. I have a pic, but will have to download and re size it before I can share.
The other amaryllis had 2 leaves but I knocked it off it's shelf and it broke those off. No bud shoot.
    Happy Growing,
    Vicki in West. Mich.
