Happy Birthday Sue. Hope you have a great one.

May you have bright and colorful flowers for the coming year, and days as bright and colorful as your flowers.

Thank you all so very much. So far I haven't done a thing. I do plan a shopping trip. My yearly trip to Wally World. I have to go for something that I need that I can't get elsewhere. I do plan a little side trip into the garden department though. I might find me a little birthday plant there.
    Thanks again my friends.

    Oh! Oh! Oh!

    Happy Birthday, Sue!

Lately, I haven't been going to the stores much either.

Before you know it, spring will be here, and THEN I will go to the garden centers!

Hugs, and I hope your day was mighty special!

Just to let you all know that I did get to Wal Mart. I bought a plant. An amaryllis no less. Pink Diamond. Most had already bloomed but this one has 2 bloom scapes. one partially open. Both are rather pale with no light. They will be put in actual soil tomorrow and into some light. One has a bud just starting to open and it already has a pup. I am happy to be having a bloom so soon since mine are all dormant now. It was marked down and I might check back later to see if they mark them down any more as they had another one that I would like to have but I can't remember the name. It was a peachy colored one.

Sue- I am so glad you found a nice plant that you liked. A word about waiting at WM. I had my eye on jammies marked 50% off--the kind with the pants and matching top. They had some with a little holiday writing in 'normal' colors but I said no I'll wait for 75% off. The next day they were 75% off but the ones I wanted were gone(left the very very large sizes), so all that were left in my size were ones with bright green pants with red and white candy canes and candies all over AND a red top that has a candy cane/ candy on it that LIGHTS up red whenever you move. I bought it b/c it was 3.50 and I wanted pj's but a top that lights up when you move?!
Anyway, I would grab that other amaryliis asap ! (at the grocery store all plants were gone the next day).
