    Landspro Forum Upgrade

    Hey, Everyone!

It is time that I buckle down and figure out what it is going to take to upgrade this forum software. For those of you who have been around for 5 years or more, you know about the database corruption due to a mistake on the server part. You remember that I spent 3 days of my Labor day weekend to recreate each and every thread. It was a pain, but very much worth it.

I still have some database issues, and I don't even know what they are, but I desperately wish to rid Landspro of all these attempted new members with vulgar, self promoting and profane membership links.

Needless to say, I will warn you in advance when I am doing the upgrades. There will be several because it has been so many years.

It is sort of scary, but backups will be maintained, and if I have to do so, I will return to the backup version as it exists now.

    Wish me LUCK!

    Thank you, ALL!

It's going to take numerous upgrades, two bigger ones, and I don't know if there will be any problems with the database.

Fortunately, I have enough disk space to create a different forum area to try before taking this one down and doing it all over again (the last one being the REAL thing).

Worst comes to worst, I can always restore to where I began.

Since I will be working part time at school this summer, it will have to be a little at a time.

When it is all complete, we can look forward to some new features!
