    Computer died

My new computer has died. I am waiting for a new motherboard to come in and then I will be up an running again I hope. I am using the old HP I had. It has been installed in oldest son's room and is for everyone to use. So I do still have access to internet but have to limit it to times he is not home. I also bought a new hard drive, a 320GB. So I hope o be able to use the video card and sound card as well as the CPU. to rebuild the new one.

    320 GB!!!!!!!! WOW!

I keep looking at my disk usage and praying that it will be enough until I can afford to purchase more.

We are always glad to see you back!!

I see daylilies starting to bloom here and there, but none of mine have opened yet.

    Ann,
I paid 100.00 for it at my local Walmart. I thought it was a 120 GB but when I got home and took it out of the package it was a 320GB. I can give windows 100Gb to use and still have enough space for everything else I have on another partition.

We also bought that hard drive. Lots and lots of storage.

I remember when hard drives first came out. Or maybe that should be a frownie! LOL! We were very excited to get a 40mb.

I remember when disk drives were removable and 128MB was a big one!

OH! That makes me feel OLD!

LAS! Yes! This is nice to not have to fight memory size or disk size anymore.
