    West MI

We got some MORE snow here last night, about 2". I did manage to get 5 of my numerous planting areas cleaned up while the snow was gone. But that still leaves alot to do yet.

The lily bulbs came the other day, and was sure hoping to get them in the ground. I guess I'll have to wait a few more days and hopefully not weeks! No seriously, we don't
USUALLY have snow after this weekend.
    Happy Growing,

You must have gotten our rain ! Must have turned to snow when it got to you. The rain was much needed. Funny thing though...the ground looks dry and we are having fire warnings and field fires. I guess the wind dried up the ground moisture.

    Just an update

Just an update, to let ya know that spring is arriving in MI.
I have a crocus blooming, notice I said A as in singular.
Lots of little plants around it (8 or so) but the only bloom.
Lots of things are waking up here. daylilies are about 2" tall, iris, phlox, sedum, blanket flowers, flax, salvia', and the forsythia and daffidols are ready to pop.

We're getting a nice steady rain, and a couple rolls of thunder, supposed to be like this off and on for the next several days. Which will likely green things up more here.

    Happy Spring!!
    Happy Growing,

Sounds great ! My daffs are coming up 1 at a time like your crocuses ! Bradford Pear trees are in full bloom --look lovely and can smell them in the wind.
