    Weird plant I saw

What is the weird plant that looks like it has cored out reddish zuchinnis hanging from it. I saw it at the nursery. Of course, after seeing the name I forget. I know one of the two words started with an N.
I think it's an epi or something tropical.
    I know..great description. It was about $25.

Could it be one of the carnivorous plants (e.g. a pitcher plant)?
    Nepenthes is the genus.

If you try to grow one of these, keep in mind that they need to grow in water or a boggy base comprised of rain water, as chemicals in city water supplies will kill them. These are not the easiest plants to grow well.
