    Fractals - Whole And Fractured

I've up loaded a new album to Webshots, with both straight fractals (just framed) and what I like to call "fractured" fractals. Just under 30 images so far. Click on the image below to go to the album, if your interested!

Rebecca, I like the weaves. But the butterflies are awsome. Looks like you've been busy today.

    Sue and All,

I only do a couple of fractal every day or so, usually late at night when there isn't as much dial up traffic. Then I have to resize and play around with them. I've been meaning to do this (new album) for weeks but didn't. Now I need to go through all of what has and hasn't already been posted and see what goes together, move them to a new, temporary folder so I can load up the rest of them. It can take me 45 minutes or better to find that elusive fractal and then 2 to 3 hours for them to render, which is generally when I go to bed and finish in the morning. Last night I did three and all we huge and I rendered under anti-alias so all the lines would be smooth and they were all done in less than 30 minutes (each)

One of the FE mailing list members keeps telling me I need to learn how to batch process so I can find several and just let them all render in sequence while I sleep, but I don't think my old machine could handel it.

I need to go through an save all of last years stuff to CD, but every time I turn around I'm needing an image from last year.

Didn't even attempt to find anything new today. Maybe tomorrow.

I'm calling it a day now, actually 2 days since I didn't sleep more than an hour last night. My legs are killing me again tonight, but am hoping being exhausted makes me sleep in spite of my legs. Need to go back to the clinic so she can tell me I need to see a specialist. Right. Like that's going to happen any time soon.

    Late, Taters,

awesome ! I like them both. The first one has lots of movement and kind of a water element in it--like under a microscope.

Jeez, Cathy, just two you liked? Did you look at the multi-colored one that the cyan one came from? I didn't do any "tricks" with it, just left it as it is.

LOL! Oh Rebecca ! I was at work and did a quick look see. It looked like the last 2 posts were the newest, so I was only considering the photos in them.
I'm a little "fractaled" with work and home right now !
    I'll try to focus !

Here is the rest of my bunch. That is Zoey on the tv. Mojo and Feona and Maximus is actually laying in front of the tv but you can't see him. Mojo and Feona are brothers and sisters I brought home from work as kittens to keep them from going to the pound. My Mom has their Momma.
I know this is nothing to do with fractauls but I have been playing with the camera and couldn't resist.
By the way the cats like to sit on this trunk and watch the birds. Especially since I hung a hummingbird feeder in front of the window. I hope to get pictures of the hummers, too.

    Sue,

It doesn't bother me to talk about our "furkids" on this thread, after all, I sort of started it!

I had a Dr's apt earlier this afternoon and as soon as I got back Gabby was under my feet and following me everywhere. Yep, even to the bath room. He was on my papers when I was trying to use the phone; stepped on the phone dialing key pad and messed up a voice mail I was trying to leave and until just now has either been on the little table in front of the office window or sleeping on the monitor. Now he's over in the corner laying on one of my old coats the he pulled off the door knob just so he could lay on it. Talk about a spoiled feline and a "momma's boy" he is both!

Grayson, my shy one tried to run off the wrong wandering tom cat last night and got his butt whooped! He's been needing a good whoppin to put him in his place with Tommie, our vagabond tom that visits for meals and if the weather is nasty. Grayson's been giving Tommie a hard way to go ever since Rusty died, so it's not like he didn't know Tommie, he just decided he didn't like him. Still he's a bit of a momma's boy too as he will tap me on the arm when he wants something - usually food. Grayson thinks he's a mighty hunter and spend a lot of his time over on the creek bank hunting for whatever he can catch, baby birds, bunnies and lately it's been voles. I expect he'll bring in a snake next!

They are both a couple of real characters!
