This is the first year ever that I have noticed a seed pod on my hardy orchid. I have waited and waited and waited for it to start turning brown.

This morning, I decided to harvest the pod and broke the pod open inside a ziploc bag. My, oh, MY! There must be 100,000 of the tiniest seeds that look like fine wood fibers.

Now what? I certainly do not have flasks or agar or any of the supplies needed for sowing these seeds.

Still, it has been fun watching the pod and even more fun to open it and be so amazed at how many seeds there are.
