The cooler weather finally arrived today, but cooler here is upper 80's. It rained again this afternoon, a drencher, but that is the norm this time of the year - afternoon thunderstorms and steamy HOT, sticky HOT!

I am grateful for the rain, and I hope you get some soon. I have the windows open, the fans running and the kitties are fascinated by the chirping of happy birds.

I would love some rain. The weatherman is teasing us with chances of rain towards the end of the week but i doubt it will happen. The hybrid willow tree is dropping tons of yellowed leaves. There is no way other than Mother Nature to supply the amount of water it needs. Or maybe it has nothing to do with water and it is just a heat/dormancy thing. This is a yearly event when it becomes hot and dry and the reason why I keep telling hubby that creating a sitting area under the willow tree isn't such a good idea--not much shade if the leaves keep falling off.
