    Calla Lilies

I know that I will need to create some subforums for this one. I have so many

I was worried about my calla lilies after the tree went down in Ivan. I dug them up and potted them as best that I could.

Most have done okay, but they are not blooming as well as I would like. They will be relocated to where the daylilies are now getting too much shade. It's just a matter of digging, moving and preparing beds.

    A bright yellow one...

These produce unusual seed pods and even more unusual seeds. The seeds are sort of like a tiny pineapple fruit only segmented. The seeds are contained within the pulp.

I have numerous pods forming. I think this is going to be the year for bulb seeds.

BTW, I truly need to move this one to bulbs, even though it is not a true 'bulb'.

I enjoy the foliage as much as I do the flower on this bulb.
