    Smile stargazer bulbils

    Ann & All,
I had potted up the stargazer lily bulbils that I grew from scales. 5 of them. 2 are now about 1 inch high. Yeah! Thought you might like to know.

The 'mother' scales are still under the sink and firm. I don't want to wash off the soil to see if there are new bulbils forming. So will just wait a little longer.
    Happy Growing,
    Vicki in West. Mich.

Yay Vicki ! Congratulations !!! Isn't it a neat feeling when experiments work?!
I didn't fair so well with my scales(it was a moisture level thing).
I did however read that one important thing is that the scale must have the very base attached in order to grow new bulblets,
even though sometimes bulblets will start in the middle of
    the scale.
