    Wow, Ann! Beautiful pics! I luv the thunbergia. Had one last year but didn't put out seeds. Now I've been trying to find seeds to start one.

    Donna,

    Although I am sure that they do produce seeds under the ideal conditions, mine have never produced them.

    However, I always overwinter a rooted cutting just in case. This one has only been in my landscape for a couple of years. A fellow Master Gardener gave me cuttings of hers, and even though hers always comes back every year, I still make cuttings, just in case...

    That example is for passiflora, but the same method works well for this particular Thunbergia. They are easy!

    Cuttings

    Thanks, Ann. Now I just have to find me some cuttings or seeds. Either someone told me or I read that you need two plants to cross polinate to make seeds.
