South Carolina Jasmine... It has gotten huge and is full of buds! It blooms well into the winter and is evergreen here. The blooms fall off when it gets really cold, and the buds start forming when the weather gets a little milder....

The Lantana up against the south facing bring never stopped blooming.

The Variagated Vinca is evergrreen here, and is just now starting to bloom.

Thank you Ann. I needed that burst of spring today! Daffodils are my favorite bulb. I guess because thay are yellow and they come up early. Next favorite is purple. Vinca stays evergreen here but not near ready to bloom. Lantana is an annual here. I have seen some daffodils up a couple of inches. Can't wait til spring here.
    Thanks.

    Boy!

Wow, I needed that bad. We've still got lots of snow. Although you can see some bare spots. The huge snowbanks are melting away. It was 45 here today. Supposed to be nice tomorrow too.

    Thanks Ann!
    Happy Growing,

We missed out on seeing any snow again this year....

However, I wish someone would tell it to stop raining, but only for a week. No more droughts like the last couple of years.

Don't mind me... I have been couped up for a 5 day holiday catching on my graduate studies. That means only Thursday and Friday of school, and you KNOW they want be ready for any work.

The forecast doesn't call for any more frost in the next to weeks, so we may be in for a very early spring. We will see... It's hard to tell. The last few years, we have been hit by a hard freeze after everything was in bloom.

I wanted to get a picture of Nandina Firepower, and the common Nandina which are full of red berries, but it started to rain again. The tulip trees (not tulip poplar) are in full bloom.

I really like my new camera, but I need to learn more of it's features.

    Enjoy!

    Ouch!

We are expecting a cold front to come through, but so far, they are saying a low of 38. After that, the next couple of weeks are lows in the upper 40's and lower 50's.

It's 53 now, and thunderstorms are still around.

There is always a chance of new growth for a few weeks followed by a heavy frost. I guess we all have to deal with that....

    Hang in there!
