    Merry Christmas!

    Merry Christmas, Everyone!

We are barely into winter here, and I am already looking forward to 3 months from now when the last average frost will pass us by...

I suppose I am feeling very sentimental right now. You see, until I started Landspro, I was not very familiar with the different climates of the world. Oh, sure. I knew there was snow up north, but I never thought about the fact that the ground would be frozen so very deeply for so long.

I appreciate all of you, and I enjoy reading and sharing the differences even with the very same plants.

Rebecca, I think Columbine is one of the prettiest and most unusual perennials around, and I am determined to find a place in my small little microclimate in the back yard where they will thrive just as the clematis seem to be doing.

I know that Foxglove will be a permanent addition to my gardens!

Enjoy the snow and white christmas! I am sure it is beautiful. I always enjoy seeing the pictures and enjoyed the few times that we have had 6". What a treat!

It's all in the spirit, isn't it?

Still, I can't wait until spring...

    Merry Christmas to ALL!

Still planting the night before Christmas

Happy Holidays !!! Please See Link Below For Your E-Card(make sure the volume is on):

    i love it...just planted 3 large lilium bulbs(Gold Eagle). Highs in the upper 40's/low 50's; lows in the upper 20's /low 30's.
Noticed that some of the plants in my garden have some small green leaves at their bases and my phlox on the north side of the house has larger green leaves. I wouldn't have thought microclimates would include the north side of a house, but I learned something !
Next project.... plans to start seeds(need to find what I have and where I have placed them).

    Happy Holidays to All !!!!
