    Chestnut Tree's

    HI ALL;
    I want to grow chestnut tree's for the chestnuts.
    Where can i get good hardy tree's?

    Trees?

    John,
    It always helps the rest of us if you post your zone. So we can give you advice for that zone. I would hate to give you advice for my zone 5, if you're in zone 8. See what I mean.

    John, I will send you a personal message with a favorite source of mine for fruit and nut trees. Hope they have what you need.

    Sue Salley-Source-Almond Trees

    Sue- I'd also like a PM re that source. I had posted under the Nursery thread a couple of months ago with no replies. I'm looking for Almond trees. Does your source have those ?

    Can you grow chestnuts from the nut? Do they come out true?
    I planted pecans from the nut, 10 years ago and am getting meats now. They are really thin shelled, but good...
