    Too Early for Halloween

This is getting spooky; where is everybody? What's everybody up to; it's got to be busy time in the gardens. I know Rebecca is busy with her daylily beds (sorry Rebecca, I see it's been a week since you posted on the Daylily forum, and I have to admit I just saw the post today). So, come on everybody let's hear what's going on in your neck of the woods !

    Getting ready!

    Cathy and All,
Trying to get ready for that nasty four letter word! Yep, snow!
Don't have any idea when, could be now, could be in Jan. Trying to get some compost spread on the beds and perennials moved.
(I know it's a little late for it but!)
Just got rid of the last 2 puppies I had, that having been having a field day in my gardens! aargh! If you can believe it they ate every floating hycinth and water lettuce out of my pond!
I was totally flabbergasted when I noticed what they were doing!
Not to mention how many newly planted iris and daylillies, they thought they needed! Could never bring myself to give them to the pound, so had to keep them until I found them good homes.
(Yes, finally!) The mom is going for her operation in 2 wks! No more puppies!
    Happy Growing,
    Vicki in West. Mich.
