    Good News!!!!

A few days ago, I mentioned that I was expecting the news of a new family member.

Benjamin Aaron was born this morning weighing 7 lbs. 4 oz. He is healthy, and he and his Mom, my kid sister (born when I was 17) are doing just fine!

Benjamin has a 15 year old older sister named Jessica who is a very bright, beautiful young lady, and I am sure Jessica will definitely be spoiling her new little brother...

I am so very proud and happy! I just had to share the great news with all of you!

    I hope you don't mind....

    Thanks, Sue!

Hopefully, he will be awake and they will let me give him a hug and kiss tomorrow...

    Keepin us young

    Hey Ann-great news!

It's not everyday a new niece/nephew comes along...for some of us it's not gonna happen anymore. But becoming a grandpa...don't wanta think about that one yet...

Anyhow, just one more reason to stay young, in heart if not in body. Gotta keep up with those little dynamos when they come to visit!

Congratulations on your new nephew! His big sister will enjoy spoiling her little brother. I enjoyed spending time with my youngest sister who was born 3 days after I turned 15. Helping my mom with her gave me experience to handle my first child in a confident manner that most new mothers don't have. Even the fact that my son was born with two birth defects and kidney disease didn't scare me. His birth defects were repaired by surgery before he started school but his kidneys lasted until he was 23 and then he went into failure and didn't realize he was so sick. He came within a few hours of dying before he got treated by a doctor. Was put into the hospital and on hemodialysis. He stayed on hemodialysis until he learned how to do peritoneal dialysis at home. He was on that until Sept 2, 2000 , when he received a successful kidney transplant.
Tell your sister to treasure the time he is little , they grow so fast.

Well, congratulations, Auntie Ann! Family is what it's all about, don't you think? You'll get so much pure joy out of staring into those innocent new eyes! Having just become a gramma 1 month ago today, I am amazed at the emotions that these new little ones can stir up in middle-aged women like ourselves! Will he live close enough to garden occaisionally with you and Hunter?

This one is hard for me, because I miss my brother terribly, but it is happy time too, for you see, he would be so terribly proud! And so am I!!!!

There is More News - SOON!

My younger sister, Alice is expecting a little girl and the due date is tomorrow. If she does not go into labor today, she is to report to the hospital at 6 AM, and they will be inducing labor.

Please say lots of prayers for my sister and her family. This, again, has been a rough pregnacy, but so far, everything looks good.

I'll post pics as soon as I get them.

Oh, BTW, my new little niece will be named Lillian Michelle and will most likely be called Lilly! Yep! That will be Benjamin's new little sister.... And Jessica's!
