Temps. are climbing ... roses already showing some "black spot" problems ... anything out there that is not toxic to everything that breathes, or walks, crawls, or flies?

Jim,
There are several products on the market which are organic. You might want to check out 'Remedy Fungicide' which is made from baking soda and a 'sticker' product or 'Safer Garden Fungicide' which is a sulfphur based product.
I have not used either product, so I can't recommend one over the other. Because of our high humidity and heavy rainfalls, I have gotten to the point where I only keep the roses that are resistant to black spot. It is simply too much work to clean up the fallen leaves to prevent further infestation and keep them sprayed.
