Rebecca- You sure know 'your' peonies. The one in the photo is a house peony(here when I moved in) and there are two other house peonies (clump split). All the rest are yours !

Let me guess, "Mine" are the ones with the lighter foliage and no blooms open yet!?! The doubles and especially this cultivar, whoever it is is a mid season bloomer. The way the ones I have have been blooming are the single pink is always first to open followed by "Rescued from Christa" the red WM rescue and then the pink. Of course now that they have been moved they may bloom somewhat sooner and I have another one (lost it's tag, of course) that has never bloomed for me, well it hasn't yet but looks like it could this year. It's the one still in a pot!

It's easy to know "my peonies", I only have 5 of them! Scary part is that I know nearly all of my daylilies on sight! That is getting a bit harder to do though as I have added so many new (to me) cultivars and quite a few seedlings from other dabbers and I haven't seen them bloom in person yet! (21 new this spring!)

I really like how you not only got that images of the bed but also how you've labeled it. Now if I could just levitate over a couple of my beds I might be able to do that too! I'd especially like to get a few shots with that angle of the new beds so I can map out what is where, be a lot easier than trying to draw a map of a bed with curves and angles! Hum. . . . wonder if my neighbor have a 6 foot step ladder, that might work!?! I could put it in the spider bed, straddling the plants, and be able to get nearly all of the west face of the patio bed in one shot.

Yep, I like your photo and must try it for the patio bed!
