Finally ! A break in the weather. We're havin' a heat wave, a tropical heat wave ! High to be 52 !
I am sooo glad to have gotten all my remaining bulbs in the ground: 30 Dutch Iris, 3 additional daffs-double orange & white-see below(what's 3 more after the initial 100 planting), 5 summer snow flakes, 12 allium jesdanium, 2 Star of Persia, 6 Mediterranean Bells, 8 upstar creme tulips, 3 wood hyacinths. Then, I put winterizer down on my lawn(yep, better late than never on that task). Whew ! Double whew!
Here is a photo of the double orange & white daffodil and a write up (SOURCE: http://buggycrazy.vstore.ca/product_info.php/pName/double-orange-and-white-3-bulbs/cName/daffodils

DOUBLE ORANGE AND WHITE DAFFODIL
THIS IS AN UNIDENTIFIED CLONE, IT COULD BE A SPORT OR A SEEDLING AND NOT AVAILABLE ANYWHERE ELSE. It came from an abandoned homestead in the Coast Range of Oregon and if anyone can shed light on it's real name please let me know! The blooms are 16-18 inches tall, they tend to fall over in heavy rain, but what a great bouquet! It starts out as a creamy yellow which becomes white as the bloom matures, there is no green in it at maturity. It blooms here in mid to late March and is always a good performer, slightly fragrant too.
