I would like to buy some privet. About 20 of them. So, I looked up my old favorite mail-order nurseries which have been consumed by the amoeba-like Direct Gardening monopoly. Unfortunately all subsidiaries have awful feedback(Garden Watchdog). I just can't understand a business model that involves sending dead, dry or rotted wet plants to customers. I mean , if they want to rip
people off, just take their money and don't send anything; that would bee more efficient ;)
So, that being said, does anyone know of a mail order nursery or nurseries that you would recommend ? So far, Mussers Forest looks halfway good (80/00 postive feedback but just a total of 11 feedbacks).
Or if anyone has 20 privet sticks they'd like to sell ?......;)

Are you talking about the privet that gives me a terrible fit here?

I can send you cuttings of all you want and seeds that grow rapidly, if you really want them.

I could probably dig up hundreds of seedlings, if not thousands! But, my gosh, let it cool off some... Today, we are back to the lower 90's instead of 99-100 which is unbearable with our humidity.

But! The best bet is seeds, and I can harvest about a million of them, if you want. They grow fast, and you have prune them a lot.

Are you sure?

Thanks Ann ! I went back into the posts to find your privet. I do recall how you loathed it so ! It appears to be European Common Privet which can be invasive. I've been considering Amur Privet. :D
