Another "Finally Rain!"

It hasn't been a lot, but it has been frequent enough that the ground is getting more soaked, and I'm not having to water plants outside.

This drought has really hurt, and I'm sure it set a lot of plants back. I just hope that I didn't lose any.

Anyway, it is wonderful to get rain, and it is so nice the way it cools everything off.

Tomorrow, I hope to take a 'stab' to see how far the shovel will go down before hitting hard, dry earth!

I know that feeling and would like tobe feeling it here again and soon! Watered front and back this evening and could hear the plants in the big bed screaming, "Hey! Where's ours?"

We have 'almost' got rain for the last 3 days. :( Some to the west, north, east, and south of me, but not here. :( :(
