I just love going to the farmer's market. It is one of my most favorite places to buy plants. On tues. I got 2 gal. clematis' for 5.50 each. They are huge! I bought a multi blue there last year, not half as big and paid 8.50 for it. It is blooming nicely this year for me. :) I'm excited as that is the first one to grow and bloom for me! I have numerous smaller ones growing and they all came back again this year. Plus I planted some that we got in the co-op (5) and they are all showing new growth. Yeah!!!

I thought I had lost some of my clematis (due to drought), but most of them are starting to grow beautifully now.

I adore them, and they grow much better here than I was told many years ago.

I'm afraid that I do not know as much about them as I would like to, but perhaps one day I will have time to study. I would love to know more...
