I strongly recommend this one. The leaves are pretty. The flowers are large, and they are supposed to be hardy to zone 6.
So, why am I growing it on my porch? I don't know, but I plan to take cuttings and plant it on the west fence.
I simply wish I had more time for them. I do adore Passiflora, but for now, I'm sticking to the hardy ones, and trying to cut back on that huge red one in the back.
They do like water, and being next to the ditch, I think as a bit much for it!
It's actually a little darker purple than this! The blooms are much larger than Lady Margaret and even larger than the red and Incarnata.
Anyway, here is Incense, hiding amidst a lot of other 'stuff'...
