I was excited to see my variegated Butterfly Bush (Buddleja davidii 'harlequin' in bloom for the first time. The deep rich purple flowers contrast nicely with the variegated foliage. This plant is a winner in my opinion so if you see one at your local nursery - ya gotta get it :D

Oh! Bob,
How beautiful can beauty be?!
Have you ever tried to root cuttings from this one? I have used lateral shoots of the others with good results just using a rooting hormone powder and moist potting mix. I would dearly love to have a couple of rooted cuttings from this one of yours, if you should ever try it and be successful at it.

Vicki and Rebecca, This plant roots very easily. In fact I have two fully rooted ones in 4" pots right now that are surplus. I sent Ann one as part of a trade we made. I can only trade this plant since it is patented. If interested, let me know and we can either do a trade or I can send you one for cost of shipping.
