First snowfall

Oh!!!

Way too cool! I guarantee you that there are a lot of kids here (young and old) who would't mind it being so cold outside if only we could have some SNOW!

Is your snow there to stay, or is it too soon for that?

I sure wish it was to soon to stay, but. . . . . .unfortunately it could very well be here till March! or April! Usually gone by mid march though. Then again this is Michigan and it could be 50 next week. ;)
Calling for lake effect snow here for the next 2-3 days. Up to 6" a day!:eek:

It didn't get nearly as cold as predicted, but it was a meltdown for these brugs. Stems still look okay, though!

The sub-tropical hibiscus in the background was bitten, but this is a somewhat protected area on the south side. The hibiscus will eventually go dormant as will the brugs.
