Gee, these things are huge and it is difficult to dig up the 'pop up' vines because the roots are so thick.

It blooms some in the spring and summer, but blooms more heavily from now until frost.

I've never spotted a seed pod on the red one, but I asked about it once at MG training. Supposedly, they do fruit, but may be self-fertile. Perhaps I need to plant another variety very close by....
