This one surprised me this evening. I have been trying to hand pollinate the Lady Margaret because it has been blooming since early spring.
However, this is NOT one of the blooms that I hand pollinated. It seems that nature and critters do a better job of pollinating.
I don't know if this one has enough time to ripen, and there is no way for me to really protect it from the first frost that will occur about Thanksgiving time.
Still, it is a cool site to see...
