These are the cutest little things, but I can never get them to come back the next year. :(

One of those plants that simply either don't like our heat or our low amount of chill hours.

I do adore seeing pictures of masses of them. Sort of reminds me of Texas and the Blue Bonnets.

As they will reseed themselves, I turned the neighborhood little girls loose on them on Saturday, and they didn't even make a dent. They are pretty, but they are prolific, especially in the grass! I will try to gather up some of the seeds this year and send them out...... I should think that you could plant them in the fall further south and they would germinate just fine!!
