I purchased Blossom Peacock at a botanical gardens sale. The pot was filled with bulbs. If you want one that quickly multiplies, this is one to have. I separated and repotted the bulbs, and they bloomed again the next year. I gave them plenty of space because I didn't want them to get that crowded again, but sometimes I think they multiply more when they are crowded. We will see...

Hi Ann~

I have a Blossom Peacock and it's one of my fave doubles. It bloomed in winter and again in July.

Sweet.

Pic is from mid-July, 2006.

What a search that was!

Mine was more double in winter, but the second flush was still a beauty. Hope I can get some pollen off of it this time. Don't recall finding much/any before and if there was the teensiest bit of stigma, I dabbed it, but got no seed set for whatever reason.

I have been watching and waiting for this one to open. It is one of the 'lost tag' pots. It has two pups and two scapes, the first of which opened today.

I do believe that it is Blossom Peacock, but the color is quite faded looking compared to the blooms of before. I do believe this is due to lack of light. It has been moved to more light and where the others were last year.

Still, it is a welcomed site!

It's still pretty. Reminds me of a double lotus blossom.

This is yet another bulb, and the bloom is even paler.

Go figure...
