I figured I'd start this month's reports on a happy note.

The plastic of OFF my back porch. Everything looks so happy, happy, happy!!!!

We are starting to get 80 degree days more consistantly now.

It's time to go back outside and start transitioning plants to more sun and wind. It's a nice spring day with only a few clouds now and then.

Ditto here ! Highs more consistently in the 70's; lows mostly 50's but saw a 43 in there. Our alarmist weatherman is pedicting thunderstorms and hale tonight and forgot to mention how gorgeous today would be. I have changed clothes no less than 5 times until I found something that will not feel to warm working outside. Think I will remove the plasticon the coldframe despite the predictions--most of it was blown off anyway by the high winds. I will wait til tomorrwo to start 'pasturing' my garge daylilies . I'm going to cut down the dried growth on the ornamental grasses and would like to til it into the small garden patch in the yard. then I hope to place my crazy lily bubs growing in the garage in boxes and trays in that space. So much to do; have to find a pace to keep it fun and not work ! Lovely day !
Oh, almost forgot...helped a turtle across the road this morning and bought some squirrel chow for the ducks....part of pond living.

Cathy, It sounds like you are having fun in your new home.
It has been in the lower 70's all week but the wind has been fierce. I did notice one day we are only supposed to be in the 50's. I am hoping the wind will die down enough so I can cover my seed area with plastic as I have run out of space inside. I did put the seedlings in a place that is protected from the wind until I can get plastic up.
I believe spring is here finally. I saw some redbuds getting ready to bloom and the weeping cherry is almost in full bloom.

March pretty much roared it's way out and poor April is being shy today.

We were under Tornado watches mostof yesterday and then warnings until after 10 last night. We got some pretty mean acting storms and rain, but nothing like part SE of here. It
s only going to get to 53 today, 70 tomorrow and sunny (finally) on Monday and nice and warm too. Typical April weather.

The gardens are a growing though and the spring bulbs are coming into thier own.
