I haven't forgotten you. I think of you everytime I see this...
They are in full bloom right now! In a couple of weeks, I will try some more cuttings.
One of my favorites!
I have been propagating these for several years now. They seem to work best in spring and summer under mist.
I just purchased a new cultivar 'chang's ruby'. It's leaves are a bit darker, and it seems to bloom more. But the thing I like about it is that it is supposed to only get 4-5 feet tall.
Keeping the old 'plum delight' and others within any kind of bounds takes a bit of attention to prunning. Otherwise they will grow to 12' tall, and 8' wide.
I'm sure you can't see the difference in this picture.
