I stopped by a couple of stores to check to see if they had started to arrive.
And, YES! They are here. Seed racks, bulbs, roses, bare root perennials/fruit plants as well as garden supplies, soil, pea gravel, sand, you name it.
It's about 70 degrees here, very sunny and NICE!

Great News AND my goofy crocus and allium schubertii and other allium cohorts whose names don't come to mind are trying to grow ! Silly, silly bulbs; winter is not over. This is very unusual weather for Wichita in January !

Kathy,
Get some straw to toss over them for protection and they'll be okay.

I'm bumping this from last year!
Walmart is still busy clearing out excess Christmas stock, so there is no sign of bulbs there.
Lowes, however, has their big stand of spring bulbs on display.
You have to know that it was difficult not to buy any, but I will, later! There are some really pretty ones. I'd like to get some more Dahlias, Caladiums and Calla lilies. I suspect that I have enough Canna, but that remains to be seen.

Spring bulbs have arrived at Walmart right on schedule. These are the wholesale type packages with lilium, daylilies, canna, calla, caladium, gladiolus, garden amaryllis (red, pink and red/white) you name it...
No spring bulbs at Home Depot, yet!

Ann,
Check out the co-op site. There is one going now with callas, caladiumns, ee's, glads, lilies, a few daylilies, etc.
