Last year I was visiting my parents in Palm Beach County when Jeanne hit. The news photos were quite amazing then and looks a lot like what they have now. No real damage last year or this year (other than downed trees) to the residences, but I hear that the Clubhouse in their development sustained some serious damage. They are about two blocks from the Clubhouse. Their power has been restored but no phone yet.
I've been reading the Hurricane blogs on the Palm Beach Post web site - reports of damage, what's open, requests to check up on property and loved ones. It gave me some peace of mind until I actually heard from my parents.
