Unknown bulb

Could this be a foxtail lily? I did have one that I planted in the spring, but can't remember where I planted it.

Deffinetly NOT a Foxtail Lily, looks more like an Oriental or L.A. Lily to me, but it isn't very big yet and really kind of hard to tell.

Foxtail lilies grown from a crown with fleshy roots, not a bulb.

Thanks! Oh, o.k. Rebecca. It just sprouted about 5 days ago. I hope it will get big enough to bloom. So I know what it is and what I will need to do with it. If it's the bulb I think it is, it was more oblong than round. Tearshaped kinda.

Sorry Cathy, haven't found out what it is. It still looks the same, though the leaves have grown, there is still only 3.
I'll take an updated photo and post on the bulb group at Gw and see if I can get an id.

I should have tried overwintering it in ground. After reading up on this, I'm going to pot it up and put it in my 'crawlspace' for the winter.

Oh, neat!

I have Eucomis, but it the plain ole white one. It overwinters fine in a pot outside, but I plan to plant it in the garden next spring. It was a small bulb when I got it, but now it has grown and proven to be hardy.

If they grow outside in a pot here, they will make it in the garden. Unless they do not like winter rain which we get plenty of... In that case, I have to plant it in areas that I know never have standing water.
