Any info about this new shrub. Is it like the PeeGee Hydrangea.
I liked the PeeGee hydrangea flower until I experienced the semi hollow stems. Not great for propagation, I like a cutting with more wood. Any details about Endless Summer Hydrangea. George.

On September 11, 1998, I discovered a H. macrophylla in full flower at Bailey Nursery's test site in St. Paul, Minnesota (-30 degrees F). Pedigree unknown, found by Vern Black, a Bailey employee, in a neighbor's garden, and growing in the company's test plots for 8 to 10 years. I requested cuttings, was given same, and after controlled testing via Jeff Adkins master's research at the University of Georgia, am convinced this selection, named 'Endless Summer', is perpetual flowering. Bailey Nursery is trademarking the name and working with McCorkle Nurseries, Dearing, Georgia, for a 2003 to 2005 release. Their target numbers are one half to one million plants.

George and All,
Forgot to include when you purchase these you have to pay for the special(blue) pots and tags which shoots the price up.This makes it easier for the plant police to monitor.
Thanks tony b.
