To everyone,
I'm looking for the best shrub data base on the internet.I need pictures and write up I can print.I've found alot of the plants I sell but some I can't find.I print these and put them in a vinyl note book cover and lay them in front of a row of plants I'm selling.I've tried buying plant tags but John Henry and other suppliers wont talk to you unless you are buying 1000s.
Thanks,
tony b.Z-6
Have you tried a Google/Image search?
Go to Google.com, click on Image above the search block, and put in the scientific name of the plant.

Tony- I agree with the print your own signs. The signs wholesalers sell arent that expensive but when you add that by a huge amount then the price does add up.
I print my own and laminate them, then put on signs. This way I can add pricing, description, Logo, etc. Certainly cheaper and better that buying them. Like you said, theres a price for the basic sign. If you want to add your Logo theres an extra charge. If you print it you have everything. A nice proffessional sign.
Tony the only thing Ive thought about is the longevity of their signs.
Tony I use Horticopia. Not sure if its available to you. Its more towards Nursery/ Garden centres. The CD comes with Trees, shrubs, evergreens and trees.
Tony hope this helps. George.

Hi William, Seen any squirrels lately? Oops, sorry.
I get pictures of my plants from books, mags and catalogues and also laminate them. Best $20 bucks I've spent in a long time.
Plants sales improved drastically with pictures.
I bought posters from John Henry and cut them up for pics of herbs and perennials.

Does anyone have a camera? I have hundreds of pictures on my website, but I would never use any that had not been taken by my wife, or myself.

John,
Please post your website!
I'd love to see your pictures. You have given lots of advise on Landspro, and I hope that everyone knows that websites (other than the you-know-who bad ones) are welcome to be posted here.
I promote all information on the internet as can be made available. We are all here to learn, including ME!
Thanks, John!

Tom I tried google, wasn't exactly what I was looking for.
George ,how much would the Horticopia cost?It might be what I'm looking for.Pictures and a write up sure help sell plants.
Sue Sally, there ain't a squirrel within five miles of my place, the word musta got out.I sure don't miss the rodents with a bushy tail.I didn't know John Henry had posters,I'II check it out.
The site I've been using is great but are missing so many of the plants I raise and sell.
