What I been up to?

It is so good to have you back!

It is unusually warm here. It is 1 PM and the temperature outside is 76 degrees. I turned on the weather channel and it is forecasted to be a high of 79 degrees.

It is partially cloudy, and it is supposed to rain for the next two days. So, I am trying to spend time outside mixing up some soil mix, and preparing 1 gallon trade size pots. I have too many 4" pots of perennials with roots bursting out the bottom. They are screaming for me to give them more room and let them grow outdoors.

I will have to protect them on nights that threaten a freeze, but their roots are definitely ready to spread.

Meanwhile, I am also preparing to plant some more seeds.

Spring is around the corner for us, and I have too much to do, but isn't it fun!

It's good to have you back Vicki. I was more of a reader when you last posted but enjoy the information provided by you and Ann and everyone else.

Ann, It's time to count the days until Spring again. There are 57 days until Spring...That is unless you live in zone 8 where Ann and I are and it is Spring/Summer today. Temperature today is 81 and 999% humidity. The Sago palms have new leaves beginning to uncurl and my Japanese magnolias are covered in blooms. All of the narcissus have been up since mid December but are just now putting out their white flowers. That 17 days of winter we had sure was brutal.

Off to eat some ice cream before beddie by.
