Just put a bunch of daylily seedlings outside . They are in their Jiffy pellets in community pots set inside a rectangular fiberglass box under trees.

Today the high is supposed to be in the low 70's with a low tonite of 52.

Tomorrow hi=70's;low=upper 50's ; with the highs continuing in the upper 70's and lows in the upper 50's.

Do the seedlings need nighttime protection(since they are in tubs I can even move them into the garage or whereever--or I could throw plastic on them or I could just leave them be).

Advice ?

Thanks !

Once I put my seedlings outside the only time I give then any additional protection is in case of frost. Mine when into a make-shift cold frame for a couple of weeks and then out into the open. Some on the patio and others went on a wooden shelf laid over the top of my "pond'. All I do now is keep them watered. Daylily seedlings are a lot tougher than you'd think! Mine are just waiting for me to get the bed ready for them, but they've been ready to go into the ground for nearly a month now!

Don't pamper them too much!
