FFO AUTUMN KING August 22

Well, yes, the daylily season is STILL JUST STARTING! Today was AUTUMN KING'S FFO (first flower open).

AUTUMN KING is four feet tall with classic flowers in yellow. It's a stronger color than AUTUMN MINARET.

What is great about AK and AM is that they are great for the back of of the border or the middle of an island.

They're unpretentious, yet bright.

No eye candy?! Unpretentious or not I wanna see pictures!

I like that heigth and the bloom seaso for it would take over where my Kwanso culmps leave off - I think the last bloom opened yesterday. I will do a scape count toningt on the plants growing on the NE side of the house - they have always bloomed the best, and then do a random count of the bud scars to get an average so I can get a close estimate of just how many blooms these had this year. An awsome amount I'm sure!
